Who's Peter Kramer?

Counselor: 9th Grade

Peter Kramer is a long time San Diego resident, living where there's life "west of the 5 " :) and now with his family in Rancho Peñasquitos.  Prior to his education profession Mr. Kramer held management positions in semiconductor manufacture, organizational communications, and photography.

After attending college on both coasts amid a compilation of majors Peter completed his Liberal Studies undergraduate degree at CSU San Marcos and continued in their highly acclaimed Teacher Credentialing Program – concurrent in both general and special education – bringing Mr. Kramer “full circle” to his original post high school path.

While teaching in San Diego and Poway Mr. Kramer excelled to his Masters in Education, Counseling & Guidance with his PPS Credential from Pt. Loma Nazarene University, San Diego.   He taught special education math at Vista High, transitioning with Intervention Counseling before his full time commitment to that department, also as its Chair.

With both middle and high school experience Mr. Kramer is greatly pleased to be a part of the Mission Vista family.  He brings a wealth of real world experience to his counseling responsibilities and is committed to helping students recognize and realize their full potential.
